Great Spices: How to Use Them to Boost Your Health and Beauty!

Spices once neglected have recently been rediscovered. Why? All thanks to their exceptional properties.

Spices flavor dishes in the kitchen, thus reducing the use of salt, which, in large quantities, is harmful to health and the figure. Due to their powerful impact on health, diets include spices.

However, the benefits they bring are not of secondary importance. They can be used in powder form, to be added to dishes, or to make beneficial infusions. In addition, wellness treatments use spices as essential oils or powders. And that's what we want to talk to you about today!

Let's start with cinnamon, which many consider only an addition to desserts. This spice has an energizing action. It is, therefore, perfect for promoting concentration. The use of aromatherapy is frequent. To energize the body, massage the area at the height of the diaphragm, called the solar plexus, with cinnamon oil (used in carrier oil).

Or you can make a scrub by combining acceptable whole salt (two tablespoons) with three tablespoons of olive oil (if you don't like the smell, you can use that of almonds), a tablespoon of cinnamon, and two of honey.

Vanilla is one of the most popular for its delightful scent. Still, in addition to the pleasantness of its aroma, vanilla has so many relaxing properties to promote sleep and reduce nervous hunger. You can take baths by putting ten drops of vanilla and a spoonful of honey in the water in the tub. It is better to dissolve them first in a bit of water.

Turmeric, on the other hand, in addition to having anticancer properties when added in powder to dishes, has an anti-aging effect. You can make a face pack by combining a tablespoon of turmeric with white yogurt and lemon drops. Delicate skin must avoid the use of lemon.

Chili has an anti-cellulite action, and you can use it to make mud to be applied twice a week. Add a tablespoon of chili powder to 7 tablespoons of green clay, some olive oil, and a little water to give the consistency of mud. Make a bandage with transparent film, leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse.

And finally, ginger, which has a slimming effect. You can prepare slimming herbal teas or use them for body treatments, such as the compress: heat some water, and before it boils, immerse yourself in a tightly woven gauze in which you will have enclosed two tablespoons of ginger. Leave to soak for 20 minutes. At this point, dampen a soft cloth in the preparation and place it on the critical areas, removing it when you see that the skin is about to turn red or has changed in color.

Spices are so good for both your health and beauty. Add them to your life to spice things up!
