 Body Scan: A Gentle Way to Tune Into Yourself

Please take a moment to engage in a body scan meditation. It's a lovely way to deepen your connection with yourself. This practice involves compassionately checking in with your body and emotions. It can significantly help with stress, anxiety, tension, or any physical discomfort you might face.

 

Here's How to Do It:

(1) Find a cozy place to lie down or sit comfortably.  

(2) Focus on your breath—inhale and exhale three times, noticing your thoughts and feelings. 

(3) Start at the top of your head or your toes. 

(4) Tune into the sensations in that part of your body. 

(5) Reflect on how those sensations might connect to your emotions. 

(6) Return to your breath, letting it flow through you—exhale gently, releasing tension in the area you're focusing on. 

(7) Allow those sensations to exist without judgment—no need to change anything. 

(8) Move on to the next area of your body, continuing your scan upwards or downwards. 

(9) Repeat steps 4 through 7 for each body part as you continue your journey. 

(10) When finished, take a moment to feel your entire body as a peaceful, loving whole—even if discomfort lingers.
